Securitas Security Services is seeking an experienced officer to act as Security System Admin for a client located in West Greenwich. This is a full-time hourly position, Mon-Friday and is not remote. Candidates will need to complete a second interview and client mandated training for the role. • $26.25/hr payrate
• 40 hpw, additional hours may be requested

Duties:

• Ability to follow established security practices and procedures
• Ability to use post specific equipment within establish guidelines
• Willingness to comply with client policy regarding information disclosure
• Ability to provide security and emergency services to client, visitors, and employees
• Ability to respond to incidents, problems, emergencies, etc according to establish procedures
• Direct and escalate all security related issues to the security management team in a timely manner
• Conduct security investigations as requested by client 
• Troubleshoot door reader/badging system malfunctions
• Assist with admin of preventive maintenance, repairs, upgrades, etc
• Create and disseminate confidential information as needed
• Assist with maintain various security systems on site
• Assist with special events
• Maintain evacuation system groups/distribution lists 
• Aid with training notifications work orders, service calls, and spare part inventory
• Ensure all documentation logs are completed and submitted according to standard
• Assist in other duties on site as needed

Requirements:

• Applicants must be 18 years of age or older
• Applicants must have high school diploma, GED, or equivalent 
• Read, write, speak fluent English 
• Have 2-3 years of security experience, specifically working with computers, CCTV, or other security systems OR have an IT background, with system admin experience
• Have a strong customer service-based work history, that demonstrated teamwork, and ability to complete client requested tasks in a timely manner
• Strong computer skills – intermediate to advanced is required for the role
