As a Training Manager you will be performing a variety of management functions while coordinating and delivering training and staff development programs for Security Officers, Supervisors, and other company personnel.

GENERAL JOB DUTIES

• Instructs Security Officers and other company employees in legally mandated and company mandated training requirements; ensures compliance with and documents the training requirements of client contract(s). 
• Delivers a variety of courses that may include new employee orientation, on-the-job training, health and safety practices, customer service techniques and supervisory development. 
• Follows established training policies, programs, and schedules to conduct courses; coordinates training activities so as not to conflict with client service schedules. 
• Uses appropriate instructional procedures or methods, such as individual training, group instruction, self-study, lectures, demonstrations, simulation exercises, role-playing, and computer-based training. 
• Distributes training manuals; administers tests and evaluations; coordinates reference library, multimedia visual aids, and other educational materials. 
• Maintains records and prepares reports to evaluate performance and monitor progress of trainees. 
• May perform additional security services functions as permitted under any required Security. Officer license and as specified for the assigned site(s), in addition to Training Officer duties. 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (Additional qualifications may be specified and receive preference, depending upon the nature of the position.)

• At least 18 years of age
• Reliable means of communication and transportation
• Legal right to work in the United States
• Ability to effectively speak, read and write English
• High school diploma or G.E.D.

• Security experience: 1 years required
• Entry to intermediate level of computer experience. 
• Prior military/law enforcement encouraged to apply.
