Location : Midwest, USA

Relocation : Yes; within the US

Security Management Resources® is recruiting a Physical Security Specialist for our client, one of the most recognized brands in the food services industry.

The position will be responsible for physical security and emergency response functions. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone just starting their corporate security career, perhaps with some prior experience with a security vendor.

Responsibilities

Physical Security

  • Work collaboratively to develop and improve processes surrounding security of employees, customers and facilities.
  • Provide support for security project design and management.
  • Coordinate installation and configuration of systems.

Resiliency and Incident Response

  • Support development of crisis and emergency management plans for a wide variety of locations.
  • Validate system functionality to assure an optimal state of readiness.
  • Ensure security protocols and procedures are enacted.

Leadership

  • Build cross-functional relationships within the organization.
  • Drive external relationships through vendor management with a focus on end-user support.

Human Capital

  • Foster awareness of security and safety related concerns through development of training initiatives.
  • Collaborate in the development of life safety programs.

Essential Skills

You Have :

  • An undergraduate degree.
  • A commitment to ongoing learning demonstrated by participation in security-industry related associations and working groups.
  • Knowledge of the systems and processes required to ensure the safety and security of a wide range of internal clients.
  • The ability to travel to project locations.

  • Early in your security career and eager to develop and advance your depth and breadth of knowledge.
