Requisition Title: Senior Project Management Analyst
Location: Oakland, CA /Bay Area (Hybrid, local candidates only)

Description:

**Looking for candidates already residing local to Bay Area/work location. Assignment will be remote but for the initial month the manager wants to meet once a week at Oakland GO to get up and running/acquainted with project.

TOP THINGS LOOKING FOR:

1. Prior experiences as a Project Manager, Accounting and/ or Sr. Business Analyst
2. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Power BI, PowerPoint, excel)
3. Strong written and verbal communication skills

Main area of responsibilities: Project manager for the Accounting organization for an ongoing financial audit. This includes:

• Coordinate and follow up on audit deliverables among the various accounting teams, functional areas and Audit PMO to ensure completion of audit requests within the due dates;
• Coordinate meetings to facilitate the identification of data request owners and/or leads;
• Maintain a detailed data request list, to enable clear and timely communication of audit status and/or audit deliverables by teams;
• Monitor progress against the due dates and provide periodic status reports;
• Anticipate concerns and questions, and provide timely recommendations for solutions, including escalating issues in a timely manner.
• Assist with drafting/formatting/consolidating audit responses from multiple teams, including performing general reviews of responses;
• Maintain the audit calendar, and support periodic audit communications with the teams;
• Provide suggestions and execute improvement plans on the audit process.

Outside of managing audit deliverables, additional job duties may include ad hoc assistance with the accounting process and improvement efforts such as:

• Benchmarking initiatives with other companies on best practices
• Work with internal/external subject matter experts to gather data, analyze end-to-end business processes and information needs of varying complexity, and summarize findings
• Prepare presentations to accounting leadership teams, as appropriate.
• SOX testing

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance
• 3 years experience as a Project Manager, Accounting and/ or Sr. Business Analyst.

Desired Qualifications:

• Excellent project management and organizational skills
• Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Knowledge of SAP
• Certification as a Professional Project Manager (PMP)
