Department: FACILITIES MAINTENANCE
Pay: $16.54 per hour$34,401.00 annually
Work Schedule:
This position provides support to the Director and managers of the Operations Support Services Department. Performs advanced secretarial and administrative work for one or more administrative, professional or technical employees. Performs skilled typing and filing of routine and confidential reports and records. Answers the maintenance Helpdesk phone and creates and assigns work order tickets. Creates shopping carts and confirmations in PPS, and processes departmental documents in accordance with established and accepted policies and procedures.
Customer Service
Answer the maintenance Helpdesk phone and creates and assigns work order tickets for maintenance staff
Screen, and refer callers, or provide information on departmental services and functions
Receive and respond to citizen inquiries by researching and providing appropriate information regarding the department’s services, operations, or procedures.
Department Purchasing
Create shopping carts and invoice confirmations in PPS, and processes departmental documents in accordance with established and accepted policies and procedures
Document contractual service payments and record.
Maintain documentation of contracted vendors, start and termination dates and monitor performance
Clerical
Type, sort, and file correspondence, invoices, statements, legal documents, reports, and other materials
Compose and type letters, memos, notices, lists, and other material
Maintain personnel files, and check operating reports for accuracy and conformance to policies and standards.
Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. One year of experience in an administrative field. One year of experience using Microsoft Excel or similar systems.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with SAP or similar software.
