Sedona Technologies Government Services is Hiring a Program Manager Near Wapato, WA

Objective: The Fleet Manager (Program Manager III) will lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive Fleet Management System (FMS) for the Wapato Irrigation Project (WIP) on the Yakama Reservation. This role is vital in supporting WIP's oversight and trust responsibilities in managing its fleet of vehicles.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with WIP leadership, project team, and stakeholders to understand requirements and objectives.
  • Lead the identification and deployment of a robust Fleet Management System.
  • Design and implement a centralized platform for monitoring and managing fleet operations.
  • Develop functionalities for vehicle tracking, route optimization, maintenance scheduling, fuel management, and reporting.
  • Oversee the development, testing, and deployment phases of the FMS project.
  • Ensure compliance with all project timelines and deliverables.
  • Provide user training and documentation for system usage.
  • Manage user access and permissions within the FMS platform.
  • Implement alerts and notifications for maintenance schedules and unauthorized vehicle usage.
  • Monitor system performance and address any issues or enhancements as needed.
  • Liaise with external vendors or developers if custom development is required.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Proven experience (minimum 10 years) in project management, specifically in implementing Fleet Management Systems.
  • Strong understanding of fleet operations and management principles.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
  • Experience in requirements gathering, system design, development, testing, and deployment.
  • Knowledge of GPS technology and vehicle tracking systems.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Familiarity with government contracting processes and regulations (preferable).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
