Preparatory Mathematics Teacher (FULL-TIME)

We encourage and prepare students to grow in their personal faith in Jesus Christ and to serve the Lord, their families, and their communities. Seeds of Excellence is located in Austell, Georgia and serves students from six weeks through 8th grade.
We are seeking a Christian individual who is interested in growing within our organization, supports our mission, has excellent communication skills, excellent technical writing skills, is very detail-oriented, and has the ability to work effectively – both with a team and individually.
We seek to fill the role with a Math Educator for the 2024-2025 school year, who will be self-motivated and collegial. The individual will provide face-to-face instruction with students in the school building with the ability to ensure student success through differentiated instruction. The ideal candidate must be adaptable to any changing school needs, able to create and maintain a godly climate that promotes respect, tolerance, and peaceful problem-solving for all students and teach Elementary courses. With small class sizes, the candidate must be able to teach math to grades 3-7 in non-combined classes (with two daily 45-minute planning periods). This position reports to the Preparatory School Principal and will be assigned to be physically present in the school building location.

TIME COMMITMENT
Monday-Friday: 7:30 am - 4:00 pm EST (once per month team meetings 5:00 pm)
Duties
Responsibilities:

• Instructs students through lectures, discussions, visual aids and other effective teaching methods for student comprehension.
• Prepares lessons and outlines to use in class that effectively cover the material.
• Administers various types of assessments to monitor students’ performance- behavior and other issues.
• Attends faculty meetings and training sessions.
• Reports in person to the school building to provide face-to-face instruction to students.
• Able to provide instruction simultaneously to in-person and remote learners, if necessary.
• Responsive to changing school and district instructional needs

Requirements
Requirements:

• Experience teaching up to Grade 8
• Certification, Degreed or Certifiable
• OR - Passed the GACE Program Admissions Assessment or have exemption
• Bachelor's Degree required with at least a 2.5 GPA (math emphasis aptitude/training)
• Available for face-to-face instruction within the school building with students present
