Order Picker Warehouse Setting

This is perfect for someone who likes to stay busy and is comfortable in a fast, physical position. Do you consider yourself to be a motivated individual who wants to work? No previous experience is required or necessary to succeed in this role as an UltraDeck Order Picker in a warehouse facility handling decking supplies and materials.

POSITION – Decking Order Picker

JOB LOCATION – Eau Claire, Wisconsin

STARTING DATE – Immediately

EMPLOYMENT TERM – Long-term, Temp-to-Hire

EMPLOYMENT TYPE – Full-Time

WORK HOURS (SHIFT) – AM Shift (6am-6pm, 2-2-3 schedule)

STARTING PAY – $19.05/hr

REQUIRED EDUCATION – High School Diploma/GED preferred but not required

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE – None. Warehouse experience preferred but not required.

We are looking for an employee that is motivated and dedicated to getting the tasks completed at hand. Employee will be taking deck spindles from one box/pallet and putting on another pallet per the specified quantities to be shipped out. Employee will use an air pneumatic stapler to fasten tags to deck spindle. They will band the pallet with banding tool and then the forklift driver will haul away to the staging and shipping area. They will also monitor the saw sorter machine and make sure boards are stacked correctly. They may work on the conveyor system picking and moving boards onto conveyor table or help load boards for the wrapping machine.

Responsibilities:

- Picking product from purchase order

- Identifying product based on size, type, and color

 - Attention to detail

- Use of basic hand tools including air pneumatic stapler

 - Be able to be on feet for entire shift

Qualifications:

- Be able to frequently use your arms, hands, and upper body to twist, turn, bend, lift and carry 5 lbs consistently for the duration of your shift.

- Be able to be walking and standing on your feet the entire shift.

- Be comfortable following both visual, written and oral instructions.

- Be a team player.

- Be self-motivated and have a strong desire to succeed.

- Be dedicated to quality.

- Strive for excellent attendance and punctuality

- Be comfortable learning to use and using an air pneumatic staple gun
