LOCATION : Grafton

POSITION : Retail Associate / Customer Service

PAY RATE : $17-19 / hr

SCHEDULE : 1st shift, Part time (Mon / Tues / Fri / Sat availability, but be able to stand for 10 hours)

DRESS CODE : Uniform provided by company

STATUS : Assignment to Hire

OVERVIEW :

Support customers on the phone and in person, providing excellent service in the shipping and receiving of personal and corporate packages, ensuring satisfaction and store loyalty.

Manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, with minimal supervision and high attention to detail.

DUTIES :

• Greet all callers and walk-in customers in a friendly and helpful manner
• Identify customer needs and expectations, striving to achieve them while adhering to company policies
• Assist customers with use of computers to process package shipping
• Act as a liaison between sender and receiver of packages, ensuring specified contact details and shipping criteria are accurate and in accordance to industry regulations
• Perform packaging quality inspections
• Perform sales transactions
• Provide shipping tracker information to customers for all shipments and assist in tracking status updates as requested
• Perform daily records accounting (supplies inventory, end of day banking prep)

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS :

• Strong customer service skills and problem-solving acumen
• Ability to accurately manage monetary transactions (cash register and credit cards)
• Minimum of two years, fast-paced retail, customer service experience
• Effective communication (verbal and written)
• Typing speed of 40 wpm and 3,000 numeric kpm with accuracy
• Proficient Microsoft Office skills
• Strong office administrative skills
• Detail oriented and organized
• Multitasker with ability to work in a team environment or independently
• Lift, push, slide, and lower packages up to #40 following all safety protocols to self and others
