Position Maintenance Technician

Starting Pay Depends on Experience, $12 per hour, $35,000 Annual Salary

Required Education High School Diploma / GED

Required Experience At least 2 years of experience

Looking for a self starter, who can eventually work unsupervised, as off-shift maintenance workers have no direct supervisor on shift with them.

Need to be well versed in mechanical machinery, and willing to learn older and newer machines. Looking at manuals, looking on line for fixes and solutions.

Responsibilities

• Read PM procedures, interpret basic engineering drawings and schematics, and understand statistical process trends
• Understand and follow maintenance specific work instructions to inspect, test, measure, repair, and replace mechanical equipment
• Complete daily maintenance tasks
• Execute tasks and responsibilities as required by the Preventive Maintenance System
• Maintain accurate, legible, and complete Maintenance documentation
• Collaborate with other technicians, engineering & leads / supervisors to continually improve the safety of our environment, the quality of our products, the efficiency & utilization of our processes & equipment

Qualifications

• Need to be well versed in mechanical machinery, and willing to learn older and newer machines. Looking at manuals, looking on line for fixes and solutions.
• Some of their equipment is older, like 1950's Danley Mechanical Press, Belt fed furnaces, Gas farnesses' (heat treaters), Induction Units, Fiber Lasers.
• PLC Knowledge a huge plus.
