About the Role:

Seerist is looking for a high-velocity government account executive to help us grow. We are on pace to double in size this year and need motivated and determined sales professionals to reach our goals. This role will join our Seerist Federal team in the US region. Seerist has a sole source USG-wide IDIQ that simplifies the contract process and enables the right person to make sales quickly. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience selling software-as-a-service solutions to the US Federal Government.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify greenfield prospects across the Department of Defense. Develop those prospects into a pipeline and work with the revenue team to convert these prospects into net new opportunities and clients.
  • Strive to continuously improve your sales process and demonstrate a willingness to learn and implement best practices.
  • Build your pipeline by completing lead-generating activities including cold calls, emails, and social touches.
  • Understand customer goals, plans, challenges, timeline, budget, and authority.

Required Qualifications:

  • Have experience working for – OR – have a proven track record selling software (preferably a SaaS solution) to the DoD.
  • Ability to effectively work with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders from entry-level employees to C-suite executive
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work in fast fast-paced, changing environment
  • Genuine customer empathy
  • Organized and strong time management skills
  • Excellent written & verbal communication
  • A thirst for knowledge and growth in a start-up environment
  • A sense of urgency and persistence
  • Ability to get or maintain a US Security Clearance
  • Flexibility - we're a small company that moves and reacts fast
  • Must be a U.S. citizen
