Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing invoices, reconciling vendor statements, and assisting with month-end closing activities. The Accounts Payable Clerk will ensure accuracy and efficiency in all transactions while adhering to company policies and procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Process invoices, expense reports, and payment requests in a timely manner
- Verify invoice accuracy, resolve discrepancies, and obtain approvals
- Reconcile vendor statements and follow up on outstanding invoices
- Assist with month-end closing activities, including accruals and reconciliations
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records
- Communicate effectively with vendors and internal departments
- Assist with other accounting tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in accounting or related field preferred
- 1-3 years of accounts payable experience, preferably in a healthcare setting
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
