The primary responsibility of the Controller is responsible for all finance-related activities for a company, including managing the accounting department.

Responsibilities:

• Financial reporting: Creating financial statements, analyses, and reports that help companies assess past strategies and plan future ones
• Budgeting: Preparing budgets and reviewing them quarterly and annually for all departments
• Cash flow management: Monitoring cash flow to ensure the company has enough money to meet its obligations
• Compliance: Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and statutory law
• Internal controls: Developing and monitoring internal controls and procedures to protect against fraud and other harmful situations
• Accounting policies: Documenting, monitoring, and updating accounting policies

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or 5 - 7 years of related experience
• Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
• GAAP knowledge, CPA preferred
• Strong written, verbal and collaboration skills
