PURPOSE: This position is an experienced HR Generalist with a strong background in talent acquisition. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the full recruitment life cycle, from sourcing and screening candidates to conducting interviews and making hiring decisions in collaboration with the hiring manager. In addition to talent acquisition responsibilities, the HR Generalist will also provide support in various HR functions, including employee relations, performance management, training and development, and HR compliance.

DIRECTION AND DECISION MAKING: This position reports to the Director of Human Resources or their designee and is required to coordinate with multiple stakeholders. The incumbent is expected to be self-motivated and able to work independently.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university or equivalent experience. Four (4) years of related experience in Human Resources, preferably in a labor organization or a progressive organization or a combination of equivalent education and experience. SHRM-CP or PHR certification is a plus but not required. All candidates must possess the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Work is generally performed in an office setting. Irregular and extended hours are occasionally required. Some travel may be required.
