An established and well-capitalized middle market Private Equity firm is seeking a Private Equity Associate to join their team. As a Private Equity Associate, you will have the opportunity to work closely with senior level management. This position offers exposure to a variety of sectors including residential services, business services, industrial services, etc. Needless to say, this is an excellent opportunity for an investment professional's next step.
The Private Equity Analyst will be responsible for:
- Execution of broader market and industry research
- Financial modeling, valuation analysis, and return analysis for various investment targets
- Take point on due diligence processes
- Monitor existing investment portfolio
- Assisting the team with operating/portfolio company work
The Private Equity Analyst should have the following qualifications:
- 1-2 years of Transaction Advisory Services experience with a reputable firm or 1-2 years of Investment Banking experience with a strong middle market bank
- Bachelor's Degree
- Superior financial analysis, modeling, budgeting, and forecasting skills (there will be a modeling test)
- Excellent interpersonal skills and exceptional work ethic
- Prior experience or interest in sectors such as business services, real estate, industrials, manufacturing, consumer, or retail
