About the Company: Our client, a commercial hospitality firm in Charlotte, is seeking a highly motivated and analytical Strategic Finance Associate to join its dynamic finance team. In this role, you will play a key role in supporting the company's strategic growth initiatives by providing financial analysis, modeling, and insights. You will work closely with cross-functional teams across the organization to evaluate potential investments, partnerships, and acquisitions, and to develop comprehensive financial plans and business cases.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct financial analysis and modeling to assess the feasibility and profitability of new business ventures, investments, and strategic partnerships.
- Develop and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and scenario planning.
- Evaluate potential acquisitions and divestitures through due diligence, valuation analysis, and integration planning.
- Prepare financial presentations and reports to communicate complex financial information to senior management and stakeholders.
- Support the development and implementation of the company's long-term financial strategy.
- Partner with cross-functional teams on strategic initiatives, including M&A, capital markets, and new market entry.
- Stay up-to-date on current financial trends and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 2 years of experience in a finance role, preferably in a corporate development, RE acquisitions, or investment banking setting.
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling software (e.g., Bloomberg, PitchBook).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Experience with mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, or corporate development is a plus.
