A prestigious financial services firm in NYC is looking to expand their Technology Risk team by adding an IT Third Party Risk Associate. This person will be responsible for supporting the firm's IT Vendor Risk management process, which includes conducting risk assessments, identifying controls gaps, monitoring risks, creating remediation plans, and working closely with senior management across the firm to help them better understand their risks.

Candidates should have 4 years of experience in Technology Risk, a solid understanding of Third Party / Vendor Risk, and those in IT Audit with a desire to move into a 2nd line role are also encouraged to apply!

Responsibilities:

• Monitor the risks associated with the firm's vendors including security threats, reputational risk, and business continuity
• Identify control gaps and develop plans for remediation
• Assist with vendor due diligence which includes maintaining risk assessments and reporting
• Work closely with senior management to ensure that vendors are compliant with TPRM standards and procedures

Requirements:

• 4 years of experience in IT Risk Management, ideally in financial services
• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Finance, or another related field
• Prior exposure covering Third Party Risk
• Microsoft Office Proficiency
• Strong ability working independently
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
