Vice President, M&A / Debt Advisory

Our client, a leading advisory firm based, is seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to join their team in Munich. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing M&A advisory services and Debt Advisory services, in the renewable energy sector. As well as being part of the Munich team, the right candidate can be based remotely in Frankfurt too.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification from an accredited institution
• At least 7 years of relevant experience within M&A, Debt Advisory, Project Finance or Leverage Finance.
• Proven track record with executing multiple M&A, Debt Advisory or Project Finance deals.
• Experience in the renewable energy sector (solar, wind, hydrogen, EV charging)

Skills

Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A): In-depth knowledge of buy-side/sell-side transactions including valuation techniques such as DCF analysis and precedent transaction analysis.

Debt Advisory: Strong understanding of different forms of credit facilities available to corporates across sectors/industries like project finance etc., Proficient at creating financial models that are used by clients for fundraising purposes.

Renewables: Understanding market dynamics related to greenfield/brownfield Renewable Energy Projects; Experience working on wind farms / solar parks would be beneficial..

Energy Transition : Knowledgeable about transitioning traditional fossil fuel-based power generation into more sustainable/renewable alternatives.
