**POSITION OVERVIEW:**
You will be responsible for all aspects of the companysNew York City courier and logistics operations reporting directly to the companys Chief Operating Officer. You will also have daily interaction with the senior management of the company.
**REQUIRED SKILLS:**
The ideal candidate will have previously held a senior position in operations management, as well as excellent customer relationship, organizational, administrative and leadership skills. Experience managing a high-volume home delivery and rush courier/messenger operations is a major plus.
We are looking for a seasoned executive, but also a hands on manager one who is directly involved in the day-to-day operation. The position is one that requires you to be able to adapt to the variables and contingencies that occur in managing a 24 x 7 - 365 day a year operation. Great organization skills, and the ability to create processes that improve the overall performance of the operation are a must.
**PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE**
Overall responsibility for all aspects of the companysNew York City operations, including but not limited to:
* Serving as senior-level operations contact for all customers within NYC and Long Island.
* Customer KPIs / SLAs.
* Improvement of operational processes to increase efficiencies and improve service to customers.
* Guiding operations team to maximize utilization of contractors and agents.
* Achieving company financial goals
* Developing and retaining supervisory and management staff overseeing all NYC Operations and Customer Service departments. Additionally, you will be responsible for continued training, coaching and development of employees within these departments.
