Job Title: Specialist Customer Service

Location: Columbus, OH

Duration: 12 months of Contract (with possible extension)

Job Description

• Manage the shipment of product from manufacturing and distribution locations in the Americas to Abbott affiliates and direct Abbott customers worldwide
• Allocate product to ensure maximum container utilization and minimize transportation costs
• Ensure prompt, accurate and efficient handling of communications concerning shipments and any other relevant aspect of the business
• Monitor key performance indicators for responsible area, perform root cause analysis, and develop and implement corrective action plans to improve levels of performance
• Maintain the master arrivals schedule (MAS) to ensure replenishments are meeting market demand and safety stock targets
• Identify continuous improvement initiatives to improve overall effectiveness of the supply chain, increase customer service, and reduce operating costs
• Maintain customer and shipping requirements including system parameters, policies, and procedures
• Develop and maintain effective working relationships with all internal and external supply chain partners
• Act as customer representative in the Abbott supply chain
