What you'll do:
• Execute activities for product and component qualifications.
• Prepare samples and execute testing to protocols as directed by Engineers.
• Accurate data compiling and maintenance.
• Assist with preparation of reports and presentations where required.
• Operate lab equipment.
• Identify any problems that may adversely affect test performance or reporting of test results and either correct the problems or immediately notify supervisor.
• Maintain laboratory in a clean and functional state.
• Adhere to department rules and laboratory procedures, as well as company regulations stated in the employee handbook.
• Adheres to department specific safety guidelines.
• Standing, sitting, walking, bending, reaching, manual manipulation, and lifting to 25 pounds.
Who you are:
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Previous mechanical testing lab experience preferred.
• Must have the ability to follow laboratory instructions and safety requirements.
• Ability to demonstrate excellent time management skills and work efficiently.
• Self-starter, results oriented, and able to multi-task.
• Must have basic computer skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to lift to 25 pounds.
