Selectek, Inc is Hiring an Electrical Designer/Engineer Near Wauwatosa, WI
An Electrical Design Engineer to work on challenging building electrical systems for healthcare, senior living and multi-family residential projects.
Required:
Required:
- 3 years of electrical design experience for low voltage building systems.
- A working understanding of the National Electric Code and model energy codes is required.
- Candidates are responsible for creating CAD drawings of their work.
- Revit experience is preferred, but not required.
- Qualifications include strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment with multiple deadlines.
- Professional Engineer licensure or ability to obtain PE is preferred.
- Interior and exterior lighting layout drawings, fixture specification and control systems for code compliance and energy savings
- Exterior photometric analysis for community approvals
- Normal and emergency power distribution drawings, panel schedules and riser diagrams
- Low voltage system integration and coordination. These include fire alarm, access control, communications, IT/ data, security, nurse/ help call, audio-visual
- System analysis for fault current and selective coordination
- Following completion of design documents, input may be required during the municipal or
- health department plan review and permitting process.
- During construction you will be involved with contractors and field staff to answer questions, review product submittals and make on-site observations of the work.
