Summary:The focus will be on machine design with Solidworks and Autocad.
Job Details:
- Plans, designs and implements new or modified machinery.
- Designs products and systems to interface with machines, hardware and software
- Provides technical guidance on and coordinates or directs fabrication, testing and installation of products, machinery, components and systems
- Project management: coordinate and communicate timelines, expectations and results to involved parties with proper documentation and reporting
- Conceives and plans projects involving product/process problems and develops new and improved approaches to the design/development of product/processes.
- Plans and develops methods and procedures for testing products and equipment using a qualification process
- Knowledge of Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT)
- Extensive data analysis/collection skills and root cause analysis experience
- Conducts cross departmental training for all product/process changes
- Coordinates or directs engineering or manufacturing personnel in fabrication of test control apparatus.
- Ability to work hands on with industry tools, modify mechanical JIG
- BS, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent work history
- 5 years experience
- Experience working in a high volume manufacturing environment
- Autodesk
- Solidworks
