Compensation : $18 per hour
A local established custom moulding mill is seeking multiple Mill Laborers for a long term opportunity.
Duties and Responsibilities for Mill Laborers :
- Could be working in Resaw, Ripsaw, or Moulder Bundling
- Bundle products as required by work order
- Assist coworkers on other moulders as needed
- Constant clean up of the area which includes sweeping of saw dust and discarding packaging materials from inbound lumber
- Work in conjunction with the Moulder Lead Person to complete any other tasks as they arise
- Stack lumber after it has run through the resaw / ripsaw, onto lumber carts
- Constant clean up of the area which includes sweeping of saw dust and discarding packaging materials from inbound lumber
- Work in conjunction with the Resaw / Ripsaw Operator to complete any other tasks as they arise
- The Mill Laborers will be working 100% indoors, on a concrete floor with sawdust present around machinery
Skills and Qualifications for Mill Laborers :
- Desire to work in a manufacturing / mill environment
- Ability to lift / maneuver bundles up to 25lbs throughout your shift
- Desire to cross train and / or learn to operate machinery
Job Details for Mill Laborers :
- Temporary to Hire job opportunity
- Monday-Friday 7 : 30am-4pm, occasional Saturdays required (GREAT opportunity for OT!)
- $18.00
