On-site Supervisor / Recruiter
We are looking for an On-Site Supervisor / Staffing Representative to manage temporary associates based at a client location. The On-site Supervisor responsibilities include managing the day-to-day work life of our temporary associates based out of our client warehouse. To be successful in this role, you should enjoy interacting with people, have a great customer service and solutions driven attitude. Must be bi-lingual Spanish & English (verbal & written). If you’re interested in working independently, supervising, recruiting, ensuring safety compliance, we’d like to meet you. Ultimately, you will ensure our client is happy with our service and it’s placed associates, while nurturing a healthy and productive work environment.
Responsibilities
- Report to client site in a daily basis, bright and early, in order to ensure there is appropriate workforce coverage.
- Work with our local branches to ensure staffing needs for client sites are met.
- Build a great working relationship with our customers
- Ensure safety is always top of mind and safety audits are conducted
- Ensure training is provided in on-going basis to all active associates
- Timesheets are managed daily and payroll is processed in a weekly basis.
- Ensure proper PPEs and safeguards are always provided to associates
- Proper CDC guidelines are met at client location
- Provide a detailed on-boarding process for new hires
- Support branch with conducting interviews and onboarding as necessary
- Attend safety meetings and any management meetings
- Ensure all applicants complete proper new hire process
- Ensure all employees follow CAL-OSHA standards
- Assist with compliance and safety guidelines as needed
Skills
- Some work experience as a Warehouse Supervisor, Staffing Specialist, Staffing Coordinator or similar roles
- Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATSs) and resume databases
- Experience with interviewing and evaluating candidates (phone screening, structured interviews and assessments)
- Solid organizational skills with the ability to maintain updated physical and digital employee records
- Excellent communication skills
- Good organization skills with the ability to multi-task
- Good verbal and written skills English & Spanish
- Good computer skills, use of Google Sheets and MS Office
- Ability to work M-F, overtime hours when needed, some weekends as needed.
- Ability to drive to location branches as needed
