About our client: Our client is a leader in the manufacturing industry. This is an important position within an organization focused on continuous improvement.
About the Job: As the Continuous Improvement Manager, you will:
•Provide data analysis regarding line performance and trends for manufacturing (OEE, yield, uptime, reactive downtime etc.) and maintenance.
•Lead implementation of a comprehensive visual factory to ensure efficient communication across the entire workplace.
•Collaborate with automation/IT specialists to develop dashboards for manufacturing and maintenance KPIs.
•Champion change management by building trust through direct engagement, problem solving, and building relationships.
•Responsible for monthly efficiency reviews with operations and maintenance teams.
•Regularly communicates projects, leads tollgate meetings, and updates executive leadership and key stakeholders on project status, roadblocks, and delivery of commitments.
•Maintains and creates appropriate documentation for reports, project execution, and data analysis.
•Work with all functional leaders (EHS, Quality, Cost, Operations, Maintenance, and Technical) to identify gaps and lead the prioritization process to develop site and business critical remediation plans during each business cycle.
•Overseeing continuous improvement activities of the company using standard methods for value creation and waste elimination in accordance with industry standard strategic deployment of Lean and Six Sigma.
•Proactively r ecommends business solutions through the CI lens and can articulate how continuous improvement tools and process can drive business value.
•Lead problem-solving efforts to improve quality and eliminate waste in all areas. Instill a diplomatic and systematic approach to problem solving.
•Identifies, develops, and leads continuous improvement projects, in support of organizational objectives, and delivers sustainable improvements that translate to positive ROI.
•Investigates core business processes, develops recommendations for improvement and facilitates the implementation of action plans to deliver results.
•Organizes a comprehensive list of improvement initiatives as approved by the executive leadership team, estimate benefits, and explain risks, prioritize based on business need, and deliver successful programs that that return benefit to the company.
•Works in collaboration with team members, at all levels, to fully assess current state and future state opportunities while bringing colleagues along as key contributors to successful outcomes.
Minimum Requirements:
•Bachelor's degree in Engineering required. Master's degree preferred.
•10 years of related industry experience in progressively increasing roles.
•Outstanding drive for impact and ability to lead through teaching and coaching.
•Adept at scoping problems, applying statistical techniques, and leading individuals through process improvement and data analytics.
•Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to advocate for and present recommendations to senior leadership.
•Strong analytic and financial acumen. Demonstrated experience in budgeting for a plant's operation.
•Acts decisively with a proven ability to take on and solve complex problems independently.
•Proven capabilities in successfully executing projects with teams. Experience of designing remediation plans to address productivity and efficiency issues, then are tracked and follow through to ensure closure.
Target Salary : $115,000-$140,000 based on experience level.
