Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Connecticut Broker of Record in Real Estate to join our dynamic team. As the CTBOR, you will play a vital role in supervising all referrals sent to our partnered licensed agents and collect all referral fees at closings, ensuring compliance with state regulations, association rules, and agent guidelines. Your focus will be on providing exceptional customer care and agent support throughout the referral process while implementing effective risk management strategies.

Duties/Responsibilities:

You will be working closely with internal data, marketing, and managements teams and external licensed real estate agent at hundreds of real estate companies who are handling contract and compliance duties. This role will also be interacting with the various department leads delivering exceptional service and ensuring compliance with all regulatory bodies.

· Supervise and support all internal customers

· Supervise and support all external licensed sales agents and final closing dates

· Implement risk management plans for the brokerage and state, ensuring compliance with state licensing laws, association membership, MLS participation, and transaction review processes.

· Deliver exceptional real estate brokerage services to agents and clients, overseeing operational elements necessary for compliance.

· Collaborate with department leads, providing exceptional service and ensuring compliance with regulatory bodies.

· Promptly respond to customers and agents requests for assistance and consult with them on their transactions.

· Oversee maintenance of brokerage and operations

· Utilize remote digital technology for seamless communication and collaboration.

· Ensure timely completion of contract file reviews and communicate using company-provided technology.

· Maintain up-to-date knowledge of state forms, contracts, real estate laws, regulations, and updates.

· Collaborate with brokerage operations leadership on legal proceedings and correspondence.

· Cultivate positive relationships with agents, promoting professionalism, ethics, and adherence to real estate industry standards.

· Submit monthly invoices to the accounting office for timely payment.

Skills & Requirements:

· Strong attention to detail and integrity.

· Ability to make quick decisions and solve problems using good judgment.

· Proven track record of leadership in the real estate industry.

· Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

· Proficiency in Google Suite and other relevant technologies.

· Effective time management skills.

· Experience analyzing sales statistics and resolving consumer and State Commission complaints.

· Strong relationship-building skills, motivating agents to achieve their goals.

· Stellar presentation skills.

· Willingness to travel within the state.

· Ability to articulate the company's value proposition to agents and consumers.

· Ownership mentality, taking initiative and demonstrating follow-through.

· Receptiveness to feedback and a commitment to continuous improvement.

· Willingness to seek clarification, direction, and training as needed.

· Strong problem-solving skills and professionalism.

Education and Experience:

· Bachelor's Degree preferred.

· Minimum of 5 years of experience as a broker with supervisory capacity.

· Strong legal compliance skills.

· Active real estate broker license in good standing with state associations.

· Continuing education credits in real estate, management, and legal compliance.

· Additional real estate designations are a plus.

· Previous branch office or state-level management experience is a plus.

Pay: $79,267.00 - $92,253.00 per year
