Job Summary: The General Manager position at Selrico Services Inc. for BLIMPIE in North Charleston, South Carolina is a full-time, salaried role within the hospitality/restaurant industry. This role is a key management position responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the BLIMPIE franchise location, ensuring exceptional guest service, and maintaining profitability. The General Manager will report directly to the Regional Director and work closely with the Selrico Services Inc. corporate team. SECURE FACILITY: NO PHONES OR ELECTRONICS ALLOWED ON BASE - LANDLINE AVAILABLE, IF NEEDED. Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage all aspects of daily operations at the BLIMPIE franchise location in North Charleston, SC
Hire, train, and develop a team of high-performing staff members
Ensure excellent guest service is provided at all times, taking action to address and resolve any guest concerns or issues
Implement and maintain all Selrico Services Inc. and BLIMPIE standards, procedures, and policies
Monitor and control food and labor costs to maintain profitability
Create and maintain employee schedules, manage inventory, and place orders as needed
Conduct regular staff meetings and communicate effectively with team members to ensure everyone is informed and working towards the same goals
Conduct performance evaluations for all staff members and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to help them achieve success
Act as a role model for professionalism, integrity, and positive leadership at all times
Collaborate with the Selrico Services Inc. corporate team to develop and implement marketing initiatives and promotions
Work closely with franchise owners to ensure their satisfaction and success
Ensure compliance with all health and sanitation regulations and maintain a clean and safe work environment
Requirements:
At least 2-3 years of previous experience in a management role within the restaurant industry
Must obtain a R.E.A.L. ID: REAL ID | Homeland Security (dhs.gov)
Must obtain a Food Handler Certificate
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational and time management skills
Understanding of food and labor cost controls and restaurant financials
Familiarity with restaurant technology and POS systems
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays if needed
