The incumbent in this position is responsible for assisting Seminole Tribe of Florida’s business units with implementing Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and software solutions in a cost-effective way by determining the requirements of a project or program, and interfacing with business units, technology staff and management teams to analyze business needs, and document workflows, business policies, processes, procedures, to ensure clarity and efficiency in anticipation of the project implementation. This role is instrumental in ensuring smooth communication, understanding, and collaboration between the Finance Executive Office Departments (Accounting, Budget, Purchasing, Fleet Management, Travel), as well as all the project stakeholders to ensure the most appropriate and effective ERP solution is implemented in support of the Tribe’s strategic objective.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is required. A Minimum of five (5) years of proven experience in project coordination or management, particularly in IT system implementations is required, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience will be considered. Prior experience with ERP systems, such as Oracle, Infor, and familiarity with their finance modules is highly preferred. Certification in project management (e.g., PMP) or business analysis (e.g., CBAP) is highly desired. Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment, building relationships and fostering cooperation between departments is required. Proficiency in documentation tools and software, such as Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, or process mapping tools. Possession of a valid Florida Driver’s License is required. Demonstrate excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to travel and work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays is required.
