Job Summary

The Human Resources Assistant is responsible for ensuring that all administrative functions of the Human Resources Team are completed in a timely manner. The Human Resources Assistant is responsible for ensuring that HR projects, processes and procedures are completed each week.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist with the development and execution of various HR programs including but not limited to, associate development/training programs, succession planning, recognition programs and associate engagement survey
• Coordinate and execute milestone celebrations, Sendik’s New Grad program, and WGA Scholarship awards
• Perform various administrative responsibilities in support of HR programs and initiatives including but not limited too; calendar management, tracking, leader communications; survey management
• Manages project timelines, leader check ins and coordinates all project milestones with the team
• Facilitates and delivers various HR related information to leaders and associates as needed, including providing regular project updates
• Facilitate weekly New Hire Orientations
• Serve customers, associates, vendors and partners while modeling Sendik’s culture and providing “best in class” customer service
• Respond to associate inquiries and provide support and assistance to resolve questions accordingly
• Review standard operating procedures and practices; proactively seeks ways to improve upon current programs, procedures and processes
• Assist in the stores during peak holiday seasons as needed
• Complete other miscellaneous duties as assigned
