Sendoso is Hiring a Remote Director of Demand Generation (Remote - US)
About the Role: The Marketing Team team is looking for a Director of Demand Generation to lead our new business pipeline generation efforts. Reporting directly to the SVP of Marketing, you will focus on earning trust and mindshare with our best-fit buyers, and winning new customers. The right person can balance near and long term goals, has sharp brand and content marketing chops, enjoys a healthy obsession with data, has the mental fortitude to tackle big challenges with grace, is brave enough to do things differently, and can demonstrate the proven ability to scale high quality fuel that feeds a thoughtful distribution engine. Demand generation is multifaceted and we’re covering a lot of ground in the bullets below. You’ll partner closely with the SVP of Marketing and other senior leaders within Marketing and the organization to prioritize key areas of focus with respect to quarterly goals. Your curiosity, keen problem solving skills, analytical thinking, agility, integrity, and propensity for action will make an immediate impact on our team, our business and our customers. What you’ll do:
Lead and mentor a small, but mighty demand generation team to drive inbound and outbound pipeline growth and new customer acquisition
Collaborate with internal and external experts to create useful and share-worthy multimedia content and get it in front of our best-fit buyers so we’ll be top of mind when they’re in-market
Leverage all of the demand generation channels listed below (and more) to create brilliant, unique integrated campaigns including:
direct gifting campaigns
event and field marketing strategy
webinars
paid social
SEM
organic social
paid sponsorships
SEO
Develop delightful, best in class signal-based ABX programs, leveraging Sendoso to reach and resonate with target accounts
Collaborate with the Sales team and our wonderful partners to build and scale a robust partner marketing strategy
Be an authority on the engine that drives pipeline growth for our business and share your insights internally and externally (we believe in learning/building in public)
Dig into the data: interpret Hockeystack and SFDC reports, obsess over pipeline and conversion numbers and build/own dashboards that will help direct our strategy
Help us craft a delightful buying experience that puts the buyer first every step of the way
Build a culture of constant testing and optimization to improve channel performance and conversion rates
Work cross functionally to drive alignment and develop strong relationships within marketing and with sales, product and CX.
Your experience:
Bachelor’s Degree
8 years of demand generation/growth marketing experience, with 5 years leading high-performing teams
Subject matter expert on marketing analytics and performance with deep experience in/strong opinions on attribution and optimization
Creatively leveraging content marketing and gifting/direct mail to connect with people in a meaningful way and drive marketing results is a superpower of yours
Experience running and collaborating with agencies/consultants on successful digital and field marketing programs
Can showcase examples of the exceptional work you’ve done to build pipeline with integrated programs
Passionate about creating a buying experience that puts the customer at the forefront of every decision and elevates the overall journey our customers take as they interact with our brand
Very organized and execution-oriented
A passion for data analysis and using data to drive incremental improvements
An entrepreneurial mindset — you get a kick out of unblocking yourself and others, fixing what’s broken, learning new tools and taking ownership where needed to move the needle
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to navigate a complex organization and generate buy-in for ideas and plans
Experience leading a BDR team and owning an outbound pipeline number strongly preferred, but not required
