This position is part of a team providing Global Transport Engineering Support (GTES) for Ft Gordon's 7thSignal Command. The team supports the reception of designated circuit lists and development of comprehensive circuit migration plans for cut-over of designated circuits from ORGNETS/Customers to ARCYBER control. ORGNET Discovery Teams assess identified networks for convergence, but require dedicated engineering support to ensure the convergence plan is technically feasible and acceptable for all stakeholders. The team supports ORGNET Discovery & Planning by providing IT technical consulting and network engineering services.
**Note: This position requires on site presence. Until the government customer requests the team to return, it is presently hybrid (90% remote / 10% in office).**
Great HillSolutions is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer in Ft. Eisenhower (Ft. Gordon), GA. This role will support synchronizing circuit migrations with ongoing discovery/convergence schedule and plans. This synchronization will include coordination with appropriate staffs and adjacent discovery efforts. The role will liaison with organizational network (ORGNET)/Customer to ensure Periods of Non-Disruption (Networks) (POND) are considered during planning and scheduling. Once POND is defined, the team will provide engineering solution for cutover plan. The role will support telecommunications service order (TSO) change order requirements, any/all Crypto challenges, and liaison with appropriate engineering teams and Brigade POCs during cutover/installation phase
