Position Status: Full Time
Pay: $50-$55/Hr
Position Description:
- Gathers functional and technical requirements for Data Governance projects.
- Creates and maintain process flows, policies, and procedures.
- Performs data analysis, data profiling, and data quality assessments.
- Identify and document data retention, data privacy, data security, and data access requirements.
- Identify and document Critical Data Elements (CDE) for Golden Records
- Define Match and Merge and Trust rules for Master Data Management
- Apply standardization and normalization policies across enterprise data assets.
- Triage and investigate user inquiries for dataset availability.
- Query and analyze data to identify business insights.
- Define approaches to improve data quality, such as data validation, cleansing, and profiling.
- Ensuring data privacy and security by implementing measures and maintaining compliance with relevant regulations
- Defining KPI/Metrics and indicators
- Ensuring adoption of required policies and standards across the enterprise
- Ensuring issues raised by business and functional data governance leaders are resolved
- Must have 1-2 years' experience in working as Data Analyst or Business Analyst in implementing Data Governance projects.
