Acquisition Specialists – SR & MID: San Diego MID-LEVEL:
Position Description:
- Provide program management support to a Navy client program office C-CISRT Team
- Provide understanding and expertise to support a Navy client in Service and Joint strategy development, implementation planning, and acquisition, transition, and resource-related assessments for C-C5ISRT related systems.
- Monitor cost, schedule, and performance of multiple development efforts, using tools like MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, and author documentation and presentations in support of program decisions. - Ability to coordinate with functional and technical experts on program documentation to facilitate program planning. Ability to facilitate meetings and briefings on behalf of the client and organize and execute client meetings as needed. Basic Qualifications:
· 4 years of experience with program or project management, preferably with Navy, NAVWAR, or PEO C4I programs and policies
· Experience as a self-starter executing the action or staff officer role on a Joint Staff or Service-level staff including developing strategies, decision briefs, and information papers and analyzing policy documents for the DoD
· Experience with the DoD Mission of C-C5ISRT
· Experience working as part of a cross-functional project delivery team, integrating, and incorporating detailed technical data from multiple team members into executive level decision-making briefs or other products, and communicating the findings, insights, and recommendations to senior-level clients
· Experience with arranging and facilitating technical exchange meetings, working groups, Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), or conferences
· Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
· TS/SCI clearance required
· BA or BS degree
Additional Qualifications:
· Knowledge of DoD DoD/SECNAV 5000 instructions
· Experience with delivering technical advice for C-C5ISRT related capabilities in Joint, Service, allied, and coalition programs and architectures
· Experience with analytical activities for U.S. government acquisition programs, including stakeholder requirements definition, requirements analysis, test and evaluation, trade studies, or architecture design for U.S. government processes SENIOR-LEVEL:
Basic Qualifications:
· Experience with acquisition management, preferably with Navy, SPAWAR, or PEO C4I programs and policies
· Experience managing cost, schedule, and performance of programs under the Defense Acquisition System
· Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
· Knowledge of DoD DoD/SECNAV 5000 instructions, and Adaptive Acquisition Frameworks (AAF)
· Ability to self-start, multitask in a fast-paced environment, and prioritize multiple tasks with minimal supervision
· Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
· 8yrs DoD Acquisition Command Experience
• TS/SCI security clearance
· Bachelor's Degree · Knowledge of DoD DoD/SECNAV 5000 instructions
