We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as an On-Call Caregiver & Office Administrator.

Job Description: As an On-Call Caregiver & Office Administrator at Senior Helpers, you will play a critical role in providing care and support to our clients and ensuring the smooth operation of our office and Independent Living Community. You will be responsible for covering shifts as needed, assisting with office administration tasks, and completing tasks for residents within our community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Caregiving:

    • Provide high-quality, compassionate care to clients in their homes or within our Independent Living Community.
    • Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
    • Monitor and record the client’s condition and report changes to the office.
    • Assist with medication reminders and light housekeeping.
    • Provide companionship and engage in activities to enhance the client’s well-being.
  • On-Call Duties:

    • Be available to cover caregiving shifts on short notice as needed.
    • Maintain a flexible schedule to accommodate varying shift needs.
  • Office Administration:

    • Assist with answering phones, scheduling appointments, and managing client files.
    • Support office staff with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and organizing documents.
    • Assist with the coordination of caregiver schedules and ensure timely communication with staff and clients.
  • Independent Living Community Support:

    • Assist residents with tasks such as running errands, coordinating activities, and addressing any immediate needs.
    • Provide assistance during community events and activities.
    • Ensure a safe and supportive environment for all residents.

Qualifications:

  • Previous caregiving experience is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and effectively.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to work on-call and adapt to varying schedules.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
