Senior Helpers, a leading provider of in-home senior care services, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Part-time Personal Caregiver for our Denver franchise. This position will primarily assist clients with their personal care needs and provide companionship to improve their overall quality of life.
This is a part-time position with weekday shifts. The individual in this role will work directly with clients in their homes.

Compensation & Benefits:
This is a PART-TIME, hourly position with a competitive pay rate of $18 to $21 per hour, based on experience. Pay will be distributed biweekly. In addition, employees will have access to benefits such as health insurance, paid time off, and ongoing training and development opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, toileting, and dressing.
- Help remind clients to take prescribed medication according to the physician’s instructions.
- Provide companionship and engage in meaningful conversations and activities with clients
- Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping tasks (taking out the trash, dishes, laundry, sweeping/vacuuming.
- Assisting the client with transfers, ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor appointments, walks etc.)
- Monitor and report any changes in client's health or behavior to the caregiver supervisor
- Follow all health and safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Attend ongoing training and development programs to enhance caregiving skills
Requirements:
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
- Ability to pass a background check
- Basic knowledge of personal care and homemaking tasks
- Willingness to participate in ongoing training and development programs
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and bend, stoop, and stand for long periods of time
