Position Summary:

As a caregiver, you will provide essential care and assistance to individuals in their homes, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life. We offer a supportive work environment with continuous communication and access to a wealth of resources to ensure you have the tools you need to succeed and grow in your role.
Key Responsibilities:

1. Personal Care Assistance:

   • Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
   • Provide mobility assistance, including help with walking, transfers, and physical exercises.

2. Companionship:

   • Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversations and activities.
   • Accompany clients to appointments, errands, and social events to promote their social well-being.

3. Health Monitoring:

   • Observe and report any changes in the client’s health, behavior, or needs to the Care Coordinator.
   • Assist with medication reminders and basic health monitoring under the guidance of healthcare professionals.

4. Household Management:

   • Assist with light housekeeping tasks such as meal preparation, laundry, and cleaning.
   • Help with grocery shopping and other household errands to ensure a safe and comfortable living environment.

5. Supportive Communication:

   • Maintain open and effective communication with clients, families, and the Care Coordinator.
   • Participate in regular team meetings and training sessions to stay informed and connected.

Compensation and Benefits:
- Standard hourly rates of $18 to $20 per hour, paid biweekly. Special Case rates available on a case-by-case basis for couples care, shower assistance, VA clients and more! Up to $30/hr.
