Job Summary:
We are currently seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to join our team at Senior Helpers - South OC in Mission Viejo, California. As a Caregiver, you will provide personal care and assistance to seniors in their homes, helping them to maintain their independence and overall quality of life. There are part-time or full-time positions, offering a competitive salary and a supportive and fulfilling work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist seniors with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding
- Assist with medication reminders and management
- Help with light housekeeping tasks and maintain a safe and clean environment
- Provide transportation for errands and appointments
- Communicate any changes or concerns regarding the client's wellbeing to the appropriate parties
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in caregiving or a related field preferred
- CPR and first aid certification
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and patient personality
Compensation and Benefits:
- Standard hourly rates of $18 to $20, paid biweekly. Additional rates available on a case-by-case basis, up to $30/hr!
