Kitchen Assistant

SeniorsPlus has an immediate opening for a full-time position (38 hours/week) in our Lewiston Meals on Wheels (MOW) kitchen facility.

This is a Monday-Thursday position working early morning hours.

Responsibilities

• The individual in this position will provide food service tasks to assist with food preparation and packaging of meals for home delivery to MOW clients in a team environment of collaboration and interactions with staff and volunteers
• Additionally, the individual will also assist with kitchen cleanup as required

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• One to three months food service experience and knowledge of safety and sanitation standards
• An equivalent combination of education and experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
