About Us: Senko Yacht Interiors is a small, family-owned yacht carpentry business dedicated to delivering high-quality craftsmanship and exceptional customer service. We specialize in interior custom woodwork on super yachts, and take pride in our attention to detail and commitment to our clients. We currently have two shop locations, our main shop is in Fort Lauderdale and our satellite shop in West Palm Beach. We are currently seeking a reliable and organized Secretary to join our team and support our daily administrative operations.

Job Description: The Secretary will play a crucial role in maintaining the smooth operation of our office. This position involves a variety of tasks that support both our team and our clients, ensuring efficient communication and coordination. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of managing multiple responsibilities in a small business environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organize employees’ hours each week and input them to QuickBooks for job tracking.
  • Run the weekly payroll for all employees.
  • Assist in the preparation of estimates, invoices, and contracts
  • Communication with shipyards we work in and maintaining the requirements to work in the yards.
  • Maintain and update customer and project files
  • Order and manage office and workshop supplies
  • Assist with bookkeeping tasks, such as data entry and reconciling accounts
  • Provide general support to visitors and clients
  • Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors
  • Perform other administrative tasks as needed to support the team

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a Secretary, Administrative Assistant, or in a similar role
  • Familiarity with office management procedures and basic accounting principles
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks, Word, Excel, Google Drive
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications as an administrative assistant or secretary are a plus
