Sensa Padel is building a national brand of padel clubs across the US, launching in early summer 2024 our first flagship padel club in Germantown, Nashville within Neuhoff - a mixed-use transformative development of Nashville's early-1900s meatpacking district, totaling more than 914,000 square feet along the Cumberland River. Role Description

Sensa Padel is hiring a Full Time General Manager for our first flagship padel club in Germantown, Nashville. This is a pivotal part of the founding team and Sensa story. We are seeking a natural leader to run club operations, build a world-class customer experience, hire and manage all team members on site, and drive the growth of the club. The ideal candidate will be passionate about sports, community and bringing people together. You will have the autonomy to make on the ground decisions and work closely with the national management team to keep pushing the bar on the in-club experience. We want someone customer obsessed, on a mission to create the best playing facility in Nashville and hyper focused on good daily operations. • Operational Excellence: Key to overseeing all aspects of the club's operations, from ensuring a top-notch experience each day, managing an active events and padel programming calendar, building a vibrant padel community and happy team. A focus on customer obsession and daily improvements in club operations is essential.

• Team Leadership: Directly responsible for managing front desk, retail, and coaching teams on site as well as all service providers and contractors working with the club. Critical to motivate the team, providing guidance, managing shifts and scheduling, set ways of working and build a culture of continuous improvement and learning for the team.

• Revenue and Financial Management: Overseeing the club's financial health, testing ways to drive higher padel engagement and new streams of revenue - including pro shop, lessons, memberships, catering and events. We’re looking for someone to make decisions that boost both the player experience and the club's financial performance. Analyzing financial reports to identify areas for improvement and implement cost-saving measures. This includes close collaboration with the Sensa management team for performance enhancement.

• Community and Culture Building: Nurturing the Sensa Padel Community, promoting a positive club culture, and actively supporting the planning and execution of events.

• Customer and Member Relations: Essential for handling complaints, ensuring compliance with club rules, and being flexible to roll up your sleeves and support across different business areas.

• Hiring and Onboarding: Collaborating with the management team to recruit key personnel, from padel coaches to front desk staff, ensuring the club is staffed with qualified and dedicated individuals who will be a part of the Sensa family and aligned with our brand values.

• Strategic Partnerships: Establishing and maintaining partnerships with local Nashville businesses for private events, corporate padel sessions, and creating new revenue streams for the club.

• Hospitality working hours: As with most hospitality, your schedule will revolve around club operations and events. You will own your own schedule, but please expect to work around customer schedules, including evenings and weekends

• Experienced Leader: Managed teams for over 5 years, ideally in sports clubs or hospitality settings, with experience in operational excellence, training & development, employee supervision and employee retention. Experience in building a club and community from the ground up (literally!) will be highly valued
• Skilled in budgeting : Experience in creating and managing budgets, as well as ability to analyze financial reports
• People lover: A great communicator who enjoys building strong relationships and a good listener
• Customer-Focused: Always aiming to improve the customer experience
• Shift management : Proven experience in scheduling work hours for all team members and payroll reporting
• Problem Solver: Skilled at resolving conflicts, wearing many hats and finding quick solutions. Thrives when solving small and large problems
• Detail-Oriented: Can handle multiple tasks efficiently without missing a beat
• Continuous Learner: Always looking to improve and grow in their career and day to day life
• Racket Sports Lover: Passion and background in racket sports a big plus; not required
