Queens Community House (QCH) is a multi-site, multi-service settlement house that serves the diverse population of Queens through a broad network of programs and services for Children and Youth, Adults and Families, and Older Adults. Queens Community House is seeking a Division Director to oversee and manage after-school, summer camp, and community school programming across sites in the Youth Services Division. The ideal candidate is an experienced nonprofit professional who has demonstrated success in youth development program leadership and internal and external stakeholder engagement. As an intentional leader with a commitment to staff development, the Division Director provides mentorship and ongoing professional training. Passionate about youth programming, the Division Director works alongside the Associate Executive Director and Youth Leadership Team to ensure inclusive quality programming. The Division Director participates in Queens Community House’s Senior Leadership Team and contributes to the success of the organization as a whole.
Program Leadership:
The Division Director will supervise and develop the program portfolio based on funder requirements, best practices, and emerging needs.
Staff Development and Program Operations:
With the ability to translate vision into action, the Division Director will oversee the day-to-day operations of all YDC programming. The Division Director will provide the Multi-Site Directors with the tools they need to develop successful teams.
Community Collaboration:
The Division Director will represent QCH through advocacy, networks, coalitions, community-building efforts, and public policy initiatives on an agency-wide basis. Additionally, this position will be responsible for the overall reporting of programs to various funders, working closely with the AED for Youth Services.
