Job Description Lead projects in the development and implementation of automation in assembly, testing and inspection processes. Ensure complete manufacturing readiness of enhanced and new products. Execution of Lean and Six Sigma initiatives Identify and coordinate the implementation of manufacturing process improvements by designing and/or sourcing needed manufacturing equipment and tooling. Identify and initiate cost savings plans for manufacturing existing products in a more cost effective and timely manner and develop any appropriate AFE (Appropriation For Expenditure) requests, and required supporting documentation, to accomplish the cost savings goal. Execution of cycle time reduction projects focused on value streams throughout the operations. Provide training to manufacturing associates related to process improvements. Liaise concerns from shop floor manufacturing to affected business functions. Monitor and audit process performances. Other duties may be assigned according to the needs of the facility. BS in Electrical Engineering or comparable degree with 3 years’ experience or a Masters’ degree and 2 years’ experience is required.
