Brief DescriptionAdvanced ENT & Allergy, a long standing member of the Louisville and Southern Indiana healthcare community, is seeking an experienced and knowledgeable CT Technician/Radiologic Technologist to join their growing team. As a mid-size, Physician-owned practice, our company is large enough to offer growth and opportunity, but still maintain the small-office feel. A recent partnership with Southern Ear, Nose, Throat and Allergy (SENTA) physicians, a leading community of physician-led and patient focused practices, has brought additional growth opportunities to our team. Advanced ENT & Allergy is a busy practice providing a full spectrum of ENT care as well as a full complement of head and neck surgery. Our 13 Otolaryngologists, as well as our Board Certified Allergist, utilize the latest technology, research and patient care techniques to create a top tier patient experience. Position will be based at the Breckenridge Lane office in Louisville, KY, but travel will be required to our offices on Gagel Avenue (Louisville) and New Albany (Indiana). The CT Technician/Radiologic Technologist will manage all aspects of the CT Department throughout the company and responsibilities include both clinical and administrative tasks. In addition to performing scans, periodic maintenance, and QA, the Radiologic Technologist will handle the company's IAC certification and assist daily with scheduling outside referral procedures. Job Responsibilities
Create procedure note for CT in the patient’s EMR chart in the practice management system
Maintenance of all CT equipment throughout the enterprise
Perform daily calibration on scanner at Breckenridge and assure staff is trained at other locations
Ordering of all CT supplies
Management of BrainLab System
Make sure all BrainLab assisted surgery scans are sent down to the system prior to patient’s surgery
Haspkey coordination
Send scans needing radiologist interpretation to DXP and assure timely return
Reports and analysis as requested by management
Check status of CT Procedure Report, if not signed, route to physician to sign off on
Manage all aspects of annual CT accreditation
Organize and ensure quarterly Q & A meetings are held with Physician committee
Obtain pre-certification on CT Scans prior to testing as needed
