Job Requirements and Preferred Qualifications:

• Required: Masters Degree
• Required: ABR or ABMP .
• Preferred: 5 years oncology.

Sentara Virginia Beach Hospital a Radiation Physicist to work at Sentara in Norfolk, VA.

The Radiation Physicist will provide technical assistance in the development of treatment plans for patients undergoing radiation therapy; monitor patients; maintain established policies, procedures, objectives, quality measurement, and safety; perform clinical research as required.
Requirements and preferred qualifications:

Required:

American Board of Radiology or American Board of Medical Physics certification and MLD - Master's Level Degree required.

Preferred qualifications:

5 years of oncology experience
