RN Unit Coordinators demonstrate proficiency in nursing practice for assigned specialty area and provides clinical leadership for the delivery of nursing care in a department. Under the direction of the department manager leads safety and quality initiatives, focuses on and simplifies workflow, and contributes to the development of staff. Increase staff satisfaction and promotes excellent (Gold Standard) customer service.
BSN and 18 months of direct, relevant experience required.

Reviews safety and quality reports. Investigates and presents ACAs and other quality reports for QMS, PQRST. Audits and reviews clinical standards as well as core safety measures including NDNQI related clinical pathways. Additional duties include audit/coaching related to IPC practices, MDRO flags, PPE, procedural reviews in alignment with DNV standards; example - physical environment risk assessment, ligature assessment, as well as compliance auditing for ED specific measures (STEMI, STROKE, SEPSIS, etc.)
