Shift: 7am-3:30pm Mon-Fri
Pay Rate: Up to $18/hr
Job Duties
Looking for the right person for the job
Assist in the shipping department with little to no supervision
Requires some experience working with wood, hand and power tools, to build wooden skids, crates, and boxes.
Packaging a wide range of items in cardboard boxes.
Will offer training for fork lift driving license.
This is not always a full time shipping position. Applicant should be able to perform other general labor tasks.
This person will be working/training for a few months with our current shipping manager who is retiring.
Requirements
Self-starting, good decision making, and adaptability to a wide range of circumstances.
Valid driver's license in good standing.
Mechanical ability and/or shop experience a plus.
Ability to read and decipher a wide range of customer purchase orders, shipping instructions, etc.
Communications with some outside public, drivers, customers, as well our office shipping people.
