Sentinel Fuel Services LLC is Hiring a Fuel Services Sales Manager Near Midland, TX

In the heart of the Permian Basin, Sentinel Fuel Services made a splash in the industry by providing fueling services and delivery. Sentinel Fuel was started to ensure high-quality fuel service and delivery when it is needed.

Based in Midland, TX with operations primarily across West Texas and NM. Work with key oil & gas companies and become a valuable part of the team assisting Sentinel with Fuel Services Sales. Our operations are rapidly expanding to include Water Services and Automation Services to the oil and gas industry.

Job Summary:

The Sales Manager will be responsible for the oversight of the company’s fuel services’ future growth. You will be experienced in the Fuel industry and an experienced Fuel Services and Rig & Frac Fuel Salesperson with 5 or more years of experience.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities but does serve as a coach and mentor for other positions in the department.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Selling to new and existing accounts rig and frac fuels.
  • Building long-term strategic relationships with customers to originate sales opportunities and develop strategies for business growth.
  • Partnering with sales and engineering representatives to deliver technical presentations to customers.
  • Providing account management to understand customer needs, requirements, and potential sales opportunities.
  • Identifying and coordinating numerous projects of varying complexity to bring value to our customers.
  • Monitoring and maintaining existing programs for customers to provide reporting on performance of applications.
  • Collaborating with team members to drive technical sales and innovative solutions that bring value to our customers.
  • Knowledge of how to perform field work such as fuel services, drilling, production and completions, water transfer needs and activities.
  • Fuel Services Sales (including fuel, oil rigs, automation, water transfer, construction, pit liners, pipeline, fracking, and water sales activities)

Qualification Requirements

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma. Associate degree in business with applicable experience preferred.
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience selling rig and frac fuels.
  • Existing frac and rig fueling contracts.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the following: water transfer, sales, frac oil field, oil rigs, pipeline, oil field construction and/or water transfer in the Permian basin. The focus being on fuel services with a minimum of two years’ experience.
  • 5 years of sales experience in the Oil and Gas industry in the Permian Basin, preferably in the Midland/Odessa area.
  • Solid understanding of fuel services and sales.
  • Comprehensive understanding of customer requirements, market conditions, compliance, operations, and efficiency.
  • Demonstrate excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills including but not limited to communicating complex technical content to a range of audiences.
  • Ability to multi-task, find solutions and establish priorities.
  • Exhibit initiative, responsibility, and flexibility.
  • Strong management, delegation, planning and leadership skills.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to travel.
  • Regularly operates in a highly safety-conscious environment, outdoor and indoor.
  • Regularly be exposed to dust, odors, oil, fumes, and noise.
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
