Sentinel Offender Services, LLC is Hiring an Equipment Technician DCTC02 Near Washington, DC

For almost 30 years, Sentinel Offender Services has provided community based, offender-funded monitoring services across North America. Working with law enforcement, community corrections agencies and the court system, we provide customized offender management solutions that help to reduce recidivism and improve reentry success. These solutions combine electronic monitoring technology, alcohol and substance abuse testing and community-based offender management programs.
The Equipment Technician is an entry level position that is responsible for installing, servicing, troubleshooting, and removing electronic monitoring equipment. The installer is also responsible for testing and cleaning electronic monitoring equipment, and inventory control of assigned assets.
Job Expectations Essential Functions
•Install and remove various electronic monitoring equipment as requested following documented standards.
•Provide support, service, and maintenance of electronic monitoring equipment and accessories.
•Maintain accurate test records for electronic monitoring equipment.
•Cleaning and sanitizing electronic monitoring equipment for future use.
•Contacting participants when needed to schedule service, recovery, or collection purposes.
•Maintains calibration and repair records for all equipment, to include installations, service calls, and terminations. This includes management of onsite equipment and RMA processes.
•Conduct shipping and receiving activities for electronic monitoring equipment and supplies per established procedures.
•Diagnosis, testing, and repair of electronic monitoring equipment as delineated in company processes and procedures.
•Serve as a liaison between Sentinel and the contracted agency.

Education
HS diploma or equivalent; experience
Knowledge Skills Abilities
•Basic computer skills
•A reliable form of transportation to ensure job attendance
•Practice time management to meet tight deadlines due to program equipment installation requirements
•Must be able to work flexible work schedules if needed
•Must be able to communicate effectively with Department Personnel, Judges and Program Participants as well as Sentinel personnel
•Effective customer service skills
•Ability to work independently and maintain an effective and efficient level of service
•Ability to prepare written reports and maintain accurate records
