Electrical Estimator Job Description

We are looking for an Estimator to prepare accurate estimates for electrical projects by gathering information and analyzing electrical plans and other pertinent documents. 

Roles and Responsibilities 

The job duties and responsibilities of this position will include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Create and submit estimates or bids to appropriate persons (project managers, clients etc.)
  • Getting quotes from suppliers and contractors
  • Create and submit electrical take-offs
  • Build relationships with key vendors
  • Willing to learn

Requirements 

  • Self-motivated, punctual, and reliable
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Good math skills
  • Proficient in Excel, Word and other relevant bidding software’s
  • Similar experience is a plus but not required
  • Candidate must be able to meet company vehicle insurance requirements.
    • No driver may have any major convictions within the last 5 year period 
    • Drivers may have no more than 3 moving violations or one accident and one violation in the last 3 years
